Here we introduce upcoming policies and plans for Seoul, a city that builds together and initiates change for the better.
The basic direction of Seoul’s urban regeneration is to develop a city “created by all together”, where “all live well together” and “all can be happy together”.
It reflects the strong will of Seoul Metropolitan Government to reduce the amount of energy
produced by one nuclear power plant through citizens’ energy saving efforts and production of green energy such as solar power.
The employment trail is a representative employment policy of Seoul, and includes visiting newly created work places, leading a social consensus through cooperation with companies, universities and labor groups, and searching for solution to job problems by creating new jobs.
This New Policy will contribute to eliminate the labor rights-related dead zone for vulnerable workers, and build cooperation between labor and management, thereby creating a variety of high quality jobs.
The Reaching-out Community Service Center Program, established by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, celebrated its one-year anniversary of implementation. It had its grand opening in July 2015 in an effort to eradicate welfare dead zones and to deliver more practical welfare benefits to the citizens.
